This is for Western Civilization Board's July Art Theme: CGI Damsels http://westerncivilization.trifecta.....f=6&t=5564 which I missed because of computer died. We have Princess Bala of Dreamworks Antz. The reason that this film and A Bug's Life where done first was that CGI was still in its infancy and hair was too difficult to do. So characters without hair were easier to do.

Princess Bala is the Queen Ant's daughter, and the deuteragonist of Antz. She is Z's girlfriend and Mandible's former fiancé. When she is taken outside the anthill by Z, they find food and water to satisfy their hunger and quench their thirst.
