My goodness, that background is easily the most gorgeous piece you've done to date, that I've seen. The marbling on the archways, the lighting and reflections on the bookcases, the texture on the chairs.
As for having that much furniture blocking the path... not such a wise move on their part. What if someone catches fire and they need to make a hasty escape? =p
