A life sized replica of the passenger car which carried President Lincoln's body to Illinois after his assassination.
The original car was built by the U.S. Military Railroad to act as President Lincoln's private personal car and was a little over engineered by the Army, hence the 8 axles. Unfortunately the President was killed just as the car was finished (he was actually supposed to inspect the car the morning after his murder).
This replica was built by Kloke Locomotive Works and is displayed at sites where their 4-4-0 replica "Leviathan" is working. A lady giving tours told me that Leviathan will pull this coach at museums once it's been inspected and cleared by the FRA.

As best as I can tell there's some sort of box beam that connects two sets of trucks together with the actual bolster that supports the body of the car being set in the middle.
