Tucker class armored cruisers were used primarily to fill the role of a very long range cruiser. They saw a lot of action both in battle and on the diplomatic stage representing the United Provinces of Waldia on many occasions and protecting its interests. These vessels were a bit more heavily armed and armored than the typical cruiser of most countries at the time making them a good match for even smaller battleships.
