I made the 3d-model in Lightwave, printed it in PLA on my 3d-printer. It took about 17 hours to print the parts. The lower jaw is made from an aluminum rod with hand-sculpted teeth (made with Plaast). The eyes are white plastic with painted iris and mesh pupil. I used brown felt for the eyelids.
I released the 3d-model on Thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1002898
The model is scaled for costume size and fits my head - it is very tight - you might need to scale it up if you want to use it for a costume.
This model was not made for animatronic eyelids - the shape of the eyes works best with plastic eyes and mesh pupils.

Especially around the muzzle area, where fur is commonly shaved quite short... it would certainly allow heat to escape! any plans on trying a realistic/semi-realistic base print?
Another thought that occurred to me, was that the holes allow many places to mount animatronics in the mask. the holes would allow for tiny servos to be mounted within the head and muzzle, and make curling lips, whisker twitches, etc, much easier to accomplish ^_^

I have two more realistic versions. Attaching movable ears and eyelids is easy.

A suggestion... the eyelids are a bit Teddy Ruxbin... you can get the same movement with a frame instead of a solid lid. Just make the edge of the frame barely wide enough to attach your pulley wire to the lid... then get some thin fuzzy velour or minky fabric, cut out a little more than you need to cover the frame... use a bit of glue and make tiny creases/wrinkles horizontally, then once glue dries, stretch this (lidskin) over the frame tightly. You'll get the same clean movement, but the lid will look a bit nicer. I adore the ear movement! so much better than necomimi ears!
