Lucario: The top of my mains. He's not the fastest character out there, but I think he has really good tools to aid with the matches. Furthermore, he has his Aura. At low percent's he's quite crap, but at higher percents, he becomes extremely powerful and some of his attacks even get a visual buff. Can be stressful to use though, especially when trying to keep myself alive on the Battlefield, or if I lose a stock extremely early.
Mr. Game & Watch: A decently quick character with some good moves and since I can combo with him easily, I can rack up damage. If I wanted to too, I could tempt fate and use Judgement. Who knows, a possible 9 for an easy KO... or 1 to do myself some harm.
Mario: He's simply just that easy to get the hang of. Most of his attacks are very close range, but he's also got great combo potential, especially after a grab. Alongside that is a Water Box move and a Reflector. Seems like he's prepared.
Pac-Man: Last time, I was still training with Pac-Man. Now I think he's quite good in the game. I love using his wide range of fruits and his tools. I can do short combos with his neutrals and aerials because they lack knockback for the most part. I suppose it's only annoying that most of his Specials are projectiles, which would be a shame if you went against someone with a reflector.
Robin: The first of the ones still in training and I was still training with he before. Robin is extremely slow and hasn't got the best aerial movement either, but I love how powerful most of her attacks are. Since most of her perishable items respawn quickly, I don't normally notice their disappearance... Normally. Still doesn't help the fact that her speed hinders most of my battles.
Ryu: The other in training. I didn't expect to main him in any way though; he's quite the awkward one to control and play as. He has Light, Medium and Heavy attacks, he has Input Commands, and he also has crappy aerial movement. I can play him in the air. I just have to be careful, but at the moment, I also don't trust myself to do some of-stage gameplay. Beyond that though, he has lots of combos you can perform and I find it satisfying when I'm able to land that True Shoryuken.
That's it though. All my Mains and Backups, and I'll probably have to update this again when the Ballot characters come out next year. (Hopes Shantae gets in!)
Also as you can see, my Wii U ID and 3DS FC are up there, so add me if you wish.

This is somewhat outdated, and I should be posting a new one of these mains list things, but I've actually really gone down in Smash recently since I've been absent from it for 2 weeks...
I have yet to add in Cloud and Bayonetta. Both of which are more of For Fun characters (Backups, if you will).

I actually just need, Lucas,Roy,Bayonetta and Corrin. Also the Mii costumes and extra stages...
And here is a tip just in case if your new, if you dodge roll, do a down smash with a character that attacks the left and right because, odds are that most of the time, the opponent will dodge roll with but they'll do it maybe twice but the second roll should miss.and try to do it near the end of the stage and their percent it around 90%, it works most of the time. But since this is outdated who are your mains and backups now??

I try not to dodge-roll a whole lot since it's very punishable and most of the players I've been coming across recently are the better variety... or at least to me maybe. I seem to have forgotten everything since I came back form Hong Kong. XD
My current list of characters I play as are the same as above, but just add Cloud then Bayonetta after Ryu.
