Maybe, it would be correct for me to ask to excuse me for posting a comment to the art of 2015, while the last comment was posted in 2017. Forgive me, if it was unwelcome!
Being the first Stand to appear as a spirit with totally free will and personality traits, Anubis definitely deserves more fan art, especially normal fan art. After all, he was quite good and serious character, his comical "retirement" took place mostly due to the Japanese cruel sense of humour, justice and to emphasize some of his weak sides: like being unable to stay calm in desperate situations — there he envies protagonist Jotaro, which accents JoJo's status. Also, it had shown how terrible it can be to find oneself alone in a complicated situation for being an honourless villain with no friends (or no Stand user at least).
It is a really nice work! The way this sword seems to be alike to Zulfiqar at its point is quite a poetic detail, Stand himself looks impressive and charming in his personal way, it actually looks like something canon-friendly and beautiful. It is sad he did not get the chance to be a more important character in the series, maybe restored after being found at the Nile's bed and even changing some of his habits after the last adventure and new "left-helpless-and-alone" situation, and the fact his "retirement" was shown to be open-ended does not make things any better.
