I like to move into old fandoms that have few or more mature fans so I don't get squealing memey type posts. :P

got all the movies, the old animation tv series and i was a part of the fan club as a kid i will admit to that. hehe

got them all yeah. the newest and old 3 ones. i think i got two in doubles even because i couldn't find the third not in a box.

Damn, your speedpaints impress me. I sometimes look at great artists' submissions and think, "I could TOTALLY do that... If I wanted to... And had a lot of time... Yeah..." and then you have to go and tell us that it only took an hour or so! You're ruining my arrogant fantasies! :P

Doing things well speedily is really just a matter of having enough stored memory. It's a result of study. Somewhere I learned something about high contrast chiaroscuro portraits so that I didn't have to fiddle around too much to get it right. Where I've failed in any imaginative speedpainting is where I've failed to study in the past.

I believe that the vast majority of human beings have the visual and spacial capacity to make representational art well with enough time and effort. You *could* totally do this if you wanted to devote at least ten thousand hours to building the skills it takes.

Haha of course! And taking some digital painting courses now to carve away at those 10,000.
