Pokemon Trainer Sasha
i finally drew my first pokemon trainer OC! her name’s sasha. she’s a trainer and pokemon breeder with a heart of gold. she has no interest in obtaining gym badges, but there’s no doubt she’s beaten some strong people!
her trusty partner is mist, her oversized latias. it all started when she was a little 2 year old kid and had escaped her home unconcisiously, she was crossing a very congested street when a young tiny latias noticed her, quickly picking her up right before an inminent accident would happen. the latias then returned the kid to her very worried parents. they thanked her, offering a place to stay but latias just shook her head and dissappeared.
at the age of 12, sasha noticed a pokemon right next to the thrash. it was the same latias, but she couldnt remember her at all. why was she there? she wondered. she was also thin, even for latias standarts. maybe they’re just not used to the big city life, far away from any berry trees. sasha quickly called her parents to pick her in the truck and take her to a pokemon center, where she was explained that the pokemon that saved her in her childhood was one just like this. sasha spent her night with the big pokemon, and the next morning she was healed up, eating from the berry bowl the parents brought up to her.
once healed up, she was offered again a place to stay, this time with Sasha insisting. this time The latias accepted- if sasha could defeat her in a fight! the kid did not own any pokemon however, so dad offered her his lopunny to fight with. he was part of the family, after all.
the fight ended with latias beating the lopunny rather easly, but she was surprised at the care that the family offered to their pokemon. it was a love she had not received in years, and she also wanted more of it, so in the end she accepted being sasha’s pokemon. they called her mist, because she was able to dissappear as she pleased. since then, they’ve been stuck to each other, going to school, staying outside of restaurants, going to dad’s workplace… they did all together.
when Sasha finally graduated as a certified pokemon breeder, she set up her home in the outskirts of the city, planting different berry trees around it, so mist wouldnt starve again.
she’s gotten a few other pokemon on her crew as well: a lopunny, a goodra, a serperior, a fennekin and a dragonair. she loves them all, but mist is the only pokemon she’ll never separate from.
