A rare moment where Lina allows Izic to be the sweet gentlemen that he is. Normally she is so proud and strong, but I think she has a soft spot for this mysterious fellow even if she can't admit it =D

She waited patiently while it took me so long to paint this. I hope she likes it! =D I'm not sure if I got Izic and Lina right, but I enjoyed working with them very much.

I restarted this piece so many times :faint: but in the end I'm very pleased with how this came out. This was not my original idea, and the background was a last minute idea. I had the characters finished before I even knew what I was going to do with them. Then inspiration hit me like lightning. I used some references for the windmill but basically designed it and everything was painted from scratch and a portion of the wheat but the rest was made via a grass brush because of the color dynamic option, it helped to get the darker and lighter shafts of wheat to blend together. And The little thing inside the bottle on Lina's hip is a fairy =D

The fairy is a brush from Redheadstock http://redheadstock.deviantart.com/gallery/ I like to think that the fairies in Zelda were not forced to stay in bottles, that they were willing to help because they loved Link and loved their fairy Queen, so the bottles were just to help them keep safe from enemies while at the same time providing them with a window to see the world around them in case they needed to be summoned as medics.
