I thought it might be cool to give him the habbit to paint his face sometimes to make his face apear different or more scary. Like some sort of shaman. A skull-corpsepaint might have looked neat, but I also like this version.^^

Personally I prefer the White face version of Nillus, especially if it corresponded with the phases of the moon; The crescent, Gibbus, and half moons would look interesting. The dark face non-painted would of course be the 'new moon' phase of the lunar cycle... Perhaps his interests wax and wane with the moon's cycle?
