I know I am suposed to work on a commission for an irl friend these days to pay back on the pc I got from him, but I found this old drawing that I had forgotten about and all that was left to do was the shading and the background so I figured to take a days break from the commission and finish this XD
My Ziba and myself being cubs. I self silly as always and Ziba, as always, being the serious one...
I got extremely lazy on the background. Didnt bother to work on it really and just threw something quickly together. Its supposed to be a giant rock/cliff they are standing on, though I know it looks more like an unidentified gray object. And that yellow thing is a sun XD

...I happen to think the contrast between the two is rather nicely done there, personally speaking.
I think it's so because dark furred lion cub is all grumpy and pouty there. And I suppose with the dark fur tone, she's supposed to be the withdrawn, semi upset one.
And then there's the bright colored happier cub on her back there that looks as if she's just ever so happy in being aliiiiive. ^ ^;
Plus the burning sun in the background happened to make for a nice setting. It kind of sets the mood there more or less.

Thanks :) but thats not the reason why Ziba has dark fur. She's my first fursona and I gave her this dark fur with the only intention of making her stand out and be unique compared to other lioness fursonas. The light one is me irl, so the reasons for her to have light color is because its my irl colors (well ok my skin isnt that yellow irl, but its my eye and hair color)
So their personalities and fur color has nothing to do with each other. Ziba just represent the more adult/serious side of me while Ann is more the goofy side of me XD
