Actually, I prefer my IMI Baby Eagle to the 1911, but I love the .45ACP for a carry...oh, waitaminute...I'm not supposed to be looking at the guns, am I? Let's try again;

Yeah a full size 1911 or Baby Eagle is about as big as Jessica would be able to easily carry concealed. As is she has an Officer-size Para-Ordnance P12-45 as her main piece.

Heh! I wish I could afford the price tag of a Para! Really, though, the Baby Eagle's 0.79" width makes it extremely easy to carry with the right holster. I almost bought a SIG .357, but they only had it in SigSauer, H&K and Glock and they were all over an inch wide and made a noticeable bulge even on my heavy frame.

BTW, I like how you have her fingers on the guards like an experienced shooter would instead of doing the on-the-trigger thing :)

Ah Jessica, one of the best gun models there is. I hope to get me a .45 one day, but most of the guns I get is WWII or earlier, which means they are more expencive :P Once again great job.

Oh something unreasonable would be like a single shot Olympic Free-Pistol, or a Remington XP-100, a Thompson Contender. She would think a single shot .22 Short Derringer would be less than ideal.

As a general rule if it is any common service/ police calibers .38 Special, 357 Magnum, 38 Super, 9mm, 40S&W, 10mm, 45ACP etc. would be completely acceptable. For pocket pistols she prefers not to go 32ACP but if a person has to go down to 25ACP, due size or concealment issues, then they better be a really good shot with it!

They almost look like customized Kimbers, what with the hammer design and the cocking serrations both fore and aft on the slide. The 1911 series and its' derivatives is indeed quite a venerable handgun, and well deserving of its' praise.
