Basic info: Chalcedony is a curious and rather naive individual who looks at the world with a childlike innocence, every day being a new adventure to her. She is also very cautious when it comes to making friends, and will not fuse with another gem unless she knows them well and trusts them.
Chalcedony first came to Earth with another gem, Chrysoprase, to avoid being part of a fusion experiment taking place on the Gem Homeworld. Upon arrival on Earth, the two of them took up residence in an abandoned cabin located on a campground just outside of Beach City. For a time their existence on Earth remained unknown, until one day when one of Chalcedony's arrows, after being shot from her bow, was carried by the wind toward a beach where a certain temple stood. Fearing someone might find the arrow and use it to find her and Chrysoprase, Chalcedony hurried down to the beach to retrieve it. However, just as she was about to pick it up, she saw a boy (I'm sure you know who) come out of the house built next to the aforementioned temple. Snatching up her arrow, she hurried away, hoping that the boy didn't see her, because Chrysoprase would often caution her about being seen by humans or other gems.
