OK, so I'm really not much of an artist, as in at all. I've never even posted here before. but there's just something about this fox that I simply cannot resist (a furry attracted to a fox? who'd have thought it? ;) ). As soon as I saw the Zootopia trailer I knew I had to do *something* of him and since I'm hopeless at most forms of art I decided to try my paw at some game style sprites.
I basicly tried to make Nick look like a character from a game from the 8/16 bit era in a 2D side scrolling sprite style. This is the first of a few different animations I have made, the Walk/Run animation. The actual sprite was done at 128x128 and zoomed 4x for this upload to make it easier to see. This animation has 24 frames and was designed to be played at 16FPS. (I have no idea if the transparency has survived the upload though, as at this point from the preview it looks like it hasn't...)
I know its not exactly great (or even that good really) but I had to do something of this (rather yiffy) fox!
I really cannot wait for Zootopia (or whatever it gets called in this country, I'm really hoping the rumour of it getting changed to 'Zootropolis' over here is inaccurate) to come out, I have a feeling its going to be good!

Thank you! and point and click... that actually fixes a major problem I was having with a concept for a zootopia game I thought of a few days ago, and would be relativity trivial to add support for in the codebase of the game engine I'm working on (a 2D engine not strictly for zootopia purposes but no reason I couldn't use it for that) specially not since I added mouse support today... I may just think about making that!
