Chuong: Fun fact; the Estonian national flag is based on Estonia's environment during winter. Blue represents the sky, black represents the forest, and white represents the snow.

Data Dog: What I don't understand is that most people say my country is cold all the time. To me, its okay.

Chuong: That's because you Estonians are used to cold environments so you guys won't care if its always cold in Estonia. What do you think about global freezing or warming?

Data Dog: A bunch of nonsense as long humanity advances forward without affecting their environments. It still bothers me that some people still believe in this sort of rubbish if everything is actually getting better.

Leo: Because many flags are just stripes of two or three colors, I had wondered if there was any symbolism of the colors. You just mention what the blue, black, and white meant. The American flag's symbolism is as follows:

Red signifies hardiness & valor
White signifies purity and innocence
Blue signifies vigilance, perseverance & justice

The white symbolism is for the stars and white stripes. Of course, 13 stripes also mean the original 13 colonies, while the 50 stars are all 50 states of our nation.

Data Dog: My flag has other meanings to it too than what Chuong just described. Blue represents our nation as our native land, black symbolizes our attachment to our homeland as well as our struggles to keep our nation alive to this day, and white, like your flag's white, represents purity but also represents hard work and commitment to us. Most foreigners who have been to Estonia interpret our flag as our environment during winter just like Chuong said.
