Reflexology test on Monick
The setup:
the subject's wrists and ankles were secured so they had no way of allowing too much movement to protect the primary areas of interest. There are 5 spots we are studying: The underarms, the exposed stomach, the sides or rib cage, the soles of the feet, and the toes. Each area were tested with one or two objects from feathers to fingers to test the areas. The subject had free range to speak her mind but she chose to remain silent and only allowed her reactions to do the talking.
stage 1: Underarms
I dug my fingers deep into the armpits of the subject which produced some snickering and giggling. She constantly stuck out her tongue and made a rapid puffing sound (like farting) with her tongue. She seemed to really enjoy it. C:
stage 2: stomach
softly touching the belly caused a couple of reactions as the subject tried to move around. I went in and blew into her belly, known as a rasperry. The made the subject very hysterical and even at one point, asked me to do it again. Very interesting reaction. C:
stage 3: sides/ribcage
With my fingers, I wiggled them on her sides and moved downwards towards her hips. She tried with all her might to refrain from laughing but even she could not hold it in for too long.
stage 4: Footsoles
This was a dramatic change in reaction. Her heart shaped paw pads are extra sensitive as it was a tear jerking reaction for her. She laughed and laughed, begging for me to stop using the guitar picks on her. But to be honest, I almost didn't want to stop. C:
stage 5: toes
These wiggly, pudgy little things had free range to move around and it seems they were just as sensitive as the paw pads. Every little touch she would pull her toes away and wouldn't want me to do anything with them. I held her foot down with one had and began to use my mouth to stimulate a reaction on her toe. She began to laugh hysterically again. I seized the moment and pulled out my feather and stroked her other toes with them, allowing it to go between those expressive digits. I let this continue on twice as long as she was exhausted after it was all done.
Conclusion:
The test proved to be a great success for positive reflexology. Her reactions were very happy and the subject even asked if I would do this again with her. :3
