<LoL!> So many memories flood to me from an image like this. Primarily, though, this is what my college beds looked like each day before I went off to class.
Interestingly enough, I have my plushie collection now strewn about in a variety of places and am desperately trying to get it accumulated back in one spot. Mine is mostly Yoshies, Care Bears, Land Before Time, and Raccoons. My prize of these all is a Raccoon mother with a baby that my Grandmother gave me when I was like three or four. I'm shocked its still alive today.
As a side note, though, since getting with my wife, the plushies have gone more on display, or to my son. I figure he is entitled to them and it saves us on money buying him toys when he can always use mine. Then again, there are some that dad will simply not allow to get torn or ripped. As Golum would say, "My Preciousssssss."

Wife is 100% not a furry. Though, I do prefer her cuddliness to anything else I've ever encountered. On the same token, though, I won't lie by saying I've given up plushies entirely since the two of us began living together. Oh, no. If she is gone for too long, like on a trip or when I feel lonely, I typically pull a plushie off for a hug or two. Plushie hugs are still good for the soul.
