Squirrels! Lots of Squirrels!!
I think I see two that
nicostahl gave to me for my birthday. I really like the one in the center of the back row- the one with a nut and a raised paw- looks like he's waving "hi" Also really like the black squirrel on the right. I've seen video clips of black squirrels and they look like the offspring of squirrel and skunk parents. The one in the pirate outfit is adorable too!

Me too, friend. There's nothing more fun than out-witting a group of friends with a crazy strategy in which only you could derive. :)
My core decks, when I could play, were Red / White and Blue / White. My Red / White was built from the day I started playing in 1995 all the way until I had to stop in the Fall of 2006. Though, it's true perfection if I do say som myself. *nod*

sounds sexy hehe (yup only a nerdy squirrel girl would ever think that ROFL) Why did u stop playing? I never played personally but I like hearing about all the cool cards and reading up on all the crazy crap people do in competitions to win (and are later banned) like Chaos confetti hehe
Chaos Confetti. <LoL!> Now that's a classic. In the end, I think the DCI banned the entire Unglued set except in the case you were playing a strictly Unglued tournament. They're such party poopers.
I didn't so much quit as become forced into an extended retirement. See, I was born with a degenerative eye condition that, as of November 2006, caused me to lose my ability to read the cards. :( I'm right now still trying to find ways of getting around this issue and, frankly, I feel I'm getting very close. Man, I can't wait to card flop again!
The thing I find fun about MAGIC is how you can use your own sense of self to anhilate someone. For instance, my most powerful deck is pretty much a collection of baby dragons and eggs. Death by cute things with attitude! Huzzah! I'm also a big fan of using blue cards that cause deck destruction. My absolute favorite card for that was "Traumatize." Nothing like seeing someone have to discard HALF of their deck, rounded up. :)

*nods* darn party poopers! the stories about those tournaments were so epic! It's really a shame!!!
Funny you should mention that you can't play 'cuz of your vision, I actually can't read the cards either without the aid of a magnifier, I was born that way though... I've never played a game myself because of it, just watched others and helped them strategize when I got familiar with which cards did what... it's a lot of memorization!!! LOL One thing I can suggest is that they sell these big magnifier things that mount on a table and are used for model building or soldering, they would be very useful for putting on a table during a game... i think they can be bought at most hobby type stores, something to think about anyways
Your cute & cuddly deck sounds awesome hehe, the stuff good stories & legends are made of !!!

It is. That deck is my absolute favorite to play. Over the holiday, I was even able to get another "egg" for it that will help me hatch more surprise attacks when I get my next opportunity to play. I am super stoked!
Based on what you mentioned about "reading" the MAGIC cards, I've got to ask if you do the same things I do to use the computer? With what eye sight I have left, I need to use Windows' Accessibility Options along with a 3x magnifier on top of the screen to decently enjoy sites such as this one. Wasn't always this way, but it's all a part of adapting to my life-long condition.
More on the topic, your suggestion sounds IMMENSELY like what I will be doing once I see if I can get the "haze" lasered out of my eye. I actually have an LED magnifier that is about a 6x that I use to read directions on how to cook along with other things. It's cumbersome to carry around, but my best bet to playing games like MAGIC again. Right now, I'm just thankful I can see the pictures on the cards well enough to "remember" what they are what they do. As you said, despite not seeing the card text, I still remember most of my decks vividly enough to play them without the aid of reading them over.
