"Grrrr....." Cherry Cheesecake awoke with a start. The sound her stomach made was quite large, and interupted her dreams of having a thanksgiving-sized feast. The dream was mostly likely what had caused the growl, but she was displeased with the awakening nonetheless.
The tree kangaroo quickly rolled into a sitting position, rubbed the sleep out of her eyes, and placed her feet into a pair of slippers waiting on the floor. She smacked her lips, considering the options for breakfast before standing and shuffling to the kitchen.
After a moment of thought, 'Cereal... Cereal is what I want.' she decided, and moved over to a cupboard that held the food she craved. After grabbing a box of chocolate puff cereal and a jug of milk, she wandered to the shelf where the dishes sat. She began to reach for a bowl, but her stomach growled, and she stopped. The bowls suddenly looked so small... surely a bowl of that size could never hold a portion big enough to satisfy this hunger. She instead reached for a fairly large mixing bowl. This seemed almost to big. 'Oh well.' She thought, 'I'd rather eat too much than not enough, and with this hunger... I think I can actually manage eating this much cereal.'. She took the bowl back to the table and filled it with cereal and milk.
It didn't take her long to begin digging in. With each bite, she savored the chocolatey, sugary, soggy goodness. It was a very filling cereal, much more filling than any cereal she had tasted before. It didn't take long to feel the pleasing sensation of a full stomach, but her hunger remained, so she continued. Besides, she didn't want to waste the large portion of cereal still left in the bowl. The bites began to become slightly more labored, but not as bad as the craving that remained. She shoveled the remaining bites in, and gulped down the milk. Her stomach moaned, not from hunger anymore, but from trying to adjust room for the pounds of cereal and milk. "Ughhh." She moaned. "That's the last time I use the mixing bowl as a dish... It's been ages since I've been this full." She gently massaged her stomach to find that it was very firm, and ever so slightly bloated.
~~~~~~~~
A small chiming rang out from her pajama pant pocket. "Oh!" She exclaimed as she reached inside and pulled out her phone. It alerted her that she had a new text message from her friend. "What did you think of the soda?" The text read.
"Crap! I forgot to taste the soda." Cherry's friend, Peanut Butter the coatimundi, who usually just went by the name of Butter, had recently made a large batch of homemade soda, and sent Cherry home with a giant glass container of it. Cherry had placed it in the freezer to chill from its luke-warm temperature, and had forgotten it when she went to bed. Thankfully, she hadn't slept long enough for the soda to be frozen, so she quickly pulled it out and observed it. She was once again amazed at how large the container was, and how much liquid could and was residing within it.
"Well, here it goes." She popped the lid off the nozzle and placed it to her lips, gently sipping it.
The taste was heavenly. How had Butter managed such AMAZING flavor? She didn't know, and right now, she didn't care as her mind was lost in the moment.
Her stomach let out another moan to say "Hey! I'm already too full, that's enough.". And it was right about that. The stomach fizzed and released air inside of her stomach, causing much more pressure than she had expected. "Mmph!!" She quickly tipped the soda contained back down, only to find that her lips and gotten stuck to the frozen nozzle, like how a tongue sticks to frozen metal. 'Crap!' She thought. She tugged away from it, but it was no use. She stepped backwards and, in an unlucky event, stumbled over her tail and toppled over backwards onto the floor, the soda container with her. Still attached to her lips, and now tilted back into her mouth after the fall, the soda burst into her mouth at incredibly speed, as the fall had also shaken it and released tons of pressure, now contributing to the pushing down Cherry's throat.
Still disoriented from the fall, for a moment Cherry did nothing but widen her eyes as the situation became clear. Her stomach had never felt so tight, but even tighter it became as massive amounts of soda poured and poured straight down into it, where it fizzed and released air, building pressure at high speeds. She struggled and desperately yanked container away from herself. It hurt her lips, but her stomach was hurting more. She could tell by the mass amount of liquid pouring into her that her stomach was rapidly expanding, but she gave it little thought as she pulled.
Finally, the container jerked away from her mouth with a loud pop. Cherry sighed in relief, but realized that the container was now empty. The damage had been done. She was hesitant to look down, as she knew that what she would see would displease her greatly. She could feel her stomach against her thighs much further out than it should. The pressure inside of her was tense and she knew that her belly must have had to stretch an amazing amount to fit all that soda on top of all the cereal beforehand.
With a hesitant sigh, she looked down to see how bloated she was, and was even more surprised than she expected to be. What she saw was the belly that should belong to a woman nine months pregnant, maybe even with twins, no triplets? Certainly not a belly than belonged to a young girl after drinking soda. The giant brown ball sloppily hung out from her now stretched pajama shirt. "This can't be happening!" Cherry groaned. She poked the mass of flesh and found it to be an odd balance between firm and squishy. It moaned and shifted, trying to settle all of its contents. She sighed and began rubbing it to help. The movement caused several belches to be released, which relieved some of the pain from the pressure, but didn't visibly affect the size of her stomach.
The tree kangaroo, still sitting on the floor, pondered on what to do now. What does one do when they're suddenly faced with a beach ball of a tummy? Do they just go on with their day? Do they seek medical attention? How long would it take to go back to its original size? What if someone she knew saw it before it was gone? The last question may have jinxed her, because at that moment, the doorbell rang.
"No, no no no no!" She exclaimed. "NOT happening!!" She tried to stand up normally but was shocked to find the weight of her stomach swaying against her movement and knocking her back down. Quickly, she tried again, this time with more consideration in maneuvering her new weight. After rising, she hobbled over to the door, and peeked out the peephole. It was her mother. Cherry couldn't possibly think of a worse person to have to deal with at the moment, considering her stomach that looked to be housing two or three children. Cherry's turned hot and red merely at the thought of anyone, especially her mother, seeing her in this state. "No no no no." She muttered again. "Maybe she'll believe I'm not home." She shuffled back to the kitchen.
"Cherry?" Her mother's voiced called from outside. "Cherry, I know you're in there, I hear you walking around."
"Crap." Cherry whispered to herself. "If there are any such things as magic or supernatural beings, right now would be really great time to show yourself and magic this situation away!" She assumed her wish would go unanswered, as magic obviously didn't exist.
"Sure thing!" A voice, female and rather high pitched, chirped.
"What? Who said that?"
"I did, ya silly."
Cherry felt a gentle tap on her shoulder, and she turned to see what looked like... a fairy? "You've got to be kidding me."
The little winged creature appeared to be canine, about a foot tall, complete with with a small sparkling dress and dragonfly-like wings. Her fur was a somewhat dull shade of redish pink, with a small darker spot over one eye and ear. She hovered at eye level with Cherry and had a silly look on her face. "Ya said ya want me to magic this situation away, yeah?" She placed a hand on her hip.
"Y-yeah" Cherry stuttered. "But I didn't think someone would actually come."
"Well. I'm not powerful enough to make the WHOLE situation go away. But I can do something about that." She flew down and poked the kangaroo's belly, causing it to wobble. The fairy dog smirked at the jiggling flesh.
"Really? Do it then, fast!" Cherry exclaimed as she heard her mother calling from the other side of the door again.
"Well... the only spell I know for this kinda thing has complications-"
"I don't care, I'll deal with it afterwards! Hurry!"
"Fine, fine!!" The little pink dog wiggled her fingers and swung her arms around, then pointed down at Cherry Cheesecake's stomach.
A slight magic-like sparkle surrounded her belly as it suddenly deflated down to its regular size in an instant. Cherry happily let out a breath of relief before opening the door and speaking with her mother.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
After Cherry's mom had left, the kangaroo watched out the window as the car pulled away, and then turned to the fairy who had been waitly patiently to resume speaking. "You said there were complications, right?" She gulped. "So what are they?"
"Well, ya see..." The fairy glanced to side. "This is how the spell I used works: You can temporarily remove any effect you want to at any time. But as soon as the spell is removed, the effect you removed will be stronger in accordance with how long the spell was cast."
"What do you mean?"
"So, in the case with your, er, stomach... The longer my spell is in effect... the bigger it's going to be when the spell is removed."
"Crap!! Can't you just leave the spell on forever, then?"
"Unfortunately not. Holding a spell wears me out, and I can't keep a spell in effect while I'm tired, sleeping, or too distracted."
"How big is it going to get how fast, then?"
"Here, I'll take it off before it does any more damage, and so you can see." The fairy winced as she once again moved her arms and hands in an odd motion before pointing them at Cherry.
All at once, the pressure from the soda and cereal slammed back into her stomach along with an added heaviness. A lot more heaviness. Whereas her belly could have been holding triplets before, now five or six babies could be babies could be hiding. She couldn't compare it to a pregnant-sized belly anymore. It was far beyond. The massive blob hanging from her torso nearly reached her knees, and she could only barely wrap her arms around it. Her poor shirt now covered only tiny portion of her belly. "How long will it take for this to go away?" She questioned the fairy in desperation.
"I have no idea. But if I had to guess... maybe a couple days?"
Cherry placed her hand on her forehead and moaned. This was going to be the least fun span of time she had had in a long time, maybe ever. "Will you stay here in case I need a spell like that again?"
"Absolutely! I have no home or family to return to anyways. Not that a fairy needs one, but a place to stay for a while would be nice!" She smiled happily. "My name is Sugar, by the way! Nice to meet you."
"You too. Mine's Cherry. Cherry Cheesecake."
I hope you guys like it! I don't usually write stories. As in like NEVER. But I hope this is acceptable. XD Let me know what you think
Feel free to make suggestions for situations and adventures for Sugar and Cherry to get into later on, I don't have anything specific planned yet!
