this reminds me of the place where I got nettle stings on my ass
(nice paint though)
for leaves I tend to just draw a few spaced out ones and copy paste them a bunch of times with different layer modes and flipping them, really gives a nice layered effect and isn't quite as repetitive as I've found brushes to be sometimes
