*laughs* I'm horrible at offering pose suggestion.
I think it's mostly because I want any photos to represent who the fursuiter is, but only the suiter can really know that. In other words, I don't want to put someone in a pose that is uncharacteristic of the character. So, I always have a hard time coming up with ideas.
Plus, I tend to enjoy more spontaneous shots which capture a moment in time, as compared to staging the images. Though I really should work on that, because I know there are so many missed opportunities for great pictures, by not coming up with creative poses to have you suiters take.

You being silly and goofy is never just an act.
Honestly, I like silly and goofy for fursuits that are not done in a realistic style. It captures an almost cartoonish fun and charm that just plays so well to the camera. <3
I know several fursuiters, such as
maglot (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11726344/), who have told me how they actually practice poses in front of a mirror, so that when a camera is raised, they have a series of poses to go into without giving it any thought.
My only real suggestion would be to go through fursuit photos and see what types of poses you really like, and then try them out in suit, to see if they look good for your suit.
Someone should probably host a panel at these cons for how to pose while in fursuit, because you are far from the only person to have such questions. There are so many people who tell me how they never have any ideas on what to do or how to pose for the camera.
