I have to ask, didn't you say that the glowey tube was only used during charging? I forget. also, the mechanical part doesn't hook into/isn't part of the bowline as of right now. you MAY wish to remedy this. I don't know the universe physics at all.

The tube is essentially a battery that engages the mechanism, yeah. The wiring on the bow doesn't pull the exterior limbs, only the interior, so it doesn't have to connect to the bowline.

I'm really curious to see if it would be possible to make that bow a real thing, at least most of it. To see how it would function and how it would have to be adapted to real life to work correctly and effectively.
