Basically...Gender and Sex aren't the same thing. It gets kinda complicated as you look into the multitudes of genders out there. I kinda sum it up as Gender is how you feel on the inside and Sex is just the bits between your legs.
In my case, my gender is Demigirl. That means I identify as female more often, but I'm also a different gender from time to time. For me, I'm Agender and Female mostly, but I've had a lot of Male moments too. My sex, however, is female.

True! You make a valid point. I just wanted to make it as simple as possible, hehe. Cause discovering myself was a rather confusing experience. Trying to find where I belong, what I feel at home with. I did this a long time ago with my faith til I settled all cozy like with Wicca. Now I discover more about myself. Demigirl, Bisexual, and Polyamorous.
What was funny is when I came out to my fiance about me being Demigirl, he was just like "Oh I knew that. I can tell when you shift into a different state of mind." I was floored. Other friends online too said they noticed it a long time ago. It was....really interesting. People can know more about you more than you realize things yourself. Maybe it's because we have a tendency to analyze others before we look at ourselves? I dunno.

How much did yours cost, if you don't mind my asking? This piece was beautiful. Still a bit disappointed there's no demigirl or demigender group on FA.

Yeah. I will admit it's awkward to explain it to my co-worker. She asked cause she was curious. She still doesn't quite understand fully, but she is accepting. There needs to be more people like her in the world, imho.
