One of the coolest things I own. Just thought others out there would enjoy seeing and appreciating it. It's pretty mysterious, actually. I put down '1970's' in the title as an approximate, because I cannot find much information about it. It's signed, and the artist was James Yesberger, who has done many similar beautifully sculpted handmade animal rings in silver. After searching really hard on the internet, I was able to find at least one other dragon design he's done, but it looks completely different from mine. It's unknown to me how many duplicates of this design were made by the artist. It could even be the only one, as he did do custom commissions.
How it fell into my hands is someone donated it among a collection of other jewelry to the thrift store that my mom volunteers at, and she let me have it. She just so happens to be the one who identifies and prices jewelry that they get. Occasionally some very valuable pieces make it in, whether the donators are aware or not.
