The vessel known as the Event Horizon, a Experimental ship that could in theory create a portal/gateway, and travel across half of the Universe in less than 30 seconds. And the Event Horizon was sent on a 6 year mission to explore unchartered territories of the Universe. But several years after the time the vessel should of have returned home, Gryphon High Command received a very disturbing SOS from the ship with it's last coordinates. Captain Sabre and his battle-hardened crew were ordered by the Admiral himself. There mission, search and rescue.
The last coordinates of the Event Horizon were deep the Minos System, and Sabre knew for a fact, that disbanded Klingon Clans were sent to the System to die without Honour. As the USS Salvation entered the Minos System the Captain ordered all hands to battle stations, and to have weapons, shields and emergency bulkheads online and ready. As the Gryphon vessel moved deep into the system, they were in visual range of the Event Horizon, and the captain ordered the helmsman to have full impulse power. As the Salvation had moved into range of the Event Horizon, the vessel was in a rapidly decaying orbit around the Demon planet. But before the Gryphon vessel could use the tractor beam, a rogue Klingon D-7 Battle Cruiser swiftly moved from behind the Demon planet ahead of the USS Salvation and fired a photon torpedo. The Captain reacted to the new threat and ordered the tactical Officer to fire phasers and take-out the D-7's weapons.....
