The whole thing sort of blossomed out of a confluence of several strange impromptu ideas. Cassidy is a fighter pilot and flying ace, with the pictured mouse--Jesse--an apparent big fan of hers. Ordinarily mice are food for gryphons, but what are you gonna do?

When going for a ref for aviator shades, on a lark ended up picking up on a picture of Kazuhira Miller of Metal Gear fame--which led to the peculiar circumstances of Lt. Colonel 'KAZ'idy Blackburn in this case. Many thanks to fuf for the fun piece!
