Puppy are so fast learner, in a week too I was able to teach Stay, Come, Left, Right, Sit, Down, Wait, Leave it, Car (before crossing the road, I say car and he sit, waiting that I say Come to continue), Stand, Hop on and Heel, offleash walk too. Logan was 3 months old (had to give him back to his owner, took him home for some free private training to train my canine educator skills).

I'm glad to see you're not of those whiny people that think puppy must not be teached anything before being 1 year old or so. People underestimate how dog love to learn and CAN learn!

They really are! This is my first time training a dog by myself(my dad always helped in the past) so I'm really happy with her progress so far! She picks commands up that, it's amazing really! After she masters down and eyes on me, I'll start working on some of the more complex ones(like the Car command, stand, hop on the heel and all that. And my fiancee is adamant about her learning Bang xD

Oh no, I would never wait to train a puppy that long! Idk, in my mind that seems way too late. By that time they're stronger and set in their ways more. It's much easier to nip a problem in the bud at an early age than struggle to correct it later on!

Her biggest issues right now are still house training(we're trying our best but living on the 3rd floor is hard on us running up and down) She hasn't had an accident off the puppy pad in 2 days though! Hopefully gonna wean her off of those shortly, I hate having them. She also likes to chew cords so I need to teach her Leave It asap =P

With Logan I teached him being 100% clean in about 3 days, but I was taking him outside every 3 hours, even at night (yup good bye long sleep!). Never used a puppy pad as it often slow down potty training. Was living in a third floor too, at the beginning he was often peeing in the elevator D: But I found a good way, take the pup in your arm while taking him/her downstair... A puppy hate to pee on itself and will wait 'til you put him/her on ground.

Yes teaching Leave It early is a must with puppy, otherwise they chew everything they see XD

Ah see, we don't have an elevator xD So it's up and down and up and down the stairs. I've been getting up twice a night to walk her and so far no accidents in the crate yet!
