Well, those look like 360 controllers, so IDK if it could be "old school".
Plus, unless you're talkin' Atari or Pre-Playstation-non-Nintendo stuff, I wouldn't count me out...
I've personally been more into playing HD Remasters/rereleases of older games than newer ones... though I really want to get my butt in gear and start playing Metal Gear Solid V already, I have them but need to finish what I've started so I can make room on my harddrive.
In a way, I miss memory cards... I could just get a new one instead
