Here is Kane after signing up for 
's Vulcan Automata.
He has signed on and was tasked with essentially being a security guard making sure no one sneaks into the Facility. After wandering off he was given his 'ear ring' as a tracking device. Since then he has enjoyed working with them and hasn't even though about what he will do when his contract runs up. He might just rejoin again.
