I've been on tegaki for 5+ years, it's actually what taught me how to paint and do somewhat lineless stuff. I know the one layer and no pen pressure thing is hard to tackle at first but once you get the hang of it it's a really relaxing little drawing applet.
I have seen some really impressive stuff on both the english and japanese version of the site over the years and man... i'm right with you.
