Titled Blight and Blister by the ever talented Leccathu, this is the first portrait of my OC, Xeldrakka, that has been done to the level of completion I have desired for over a decade.

This has been a long time coming, and is the light at a very long tunnel filled by failures, setbacks, disappointments, and interruptions. I can't think of many things I have yearned for more than this, having done the otherkin thing for many years up until recently. With this, there is closure to the past, and a transformation of what this entity means to me. He is a failed identity, but he is also everything I idolize in form, function, and demeanor.

Some day I'll have a reference sheet, and clothing, and armor, and bright alien cityscapes rising high above a phosphorescent forest, and he and his brothers and sisters will populate that all. This, however, brings me peace and pride and humility all at once.
