Well, it's a start!
I've made quite a few remixes in the past few weeks and I've recycle-binned all of them. I've been going on and boring you all with journals and comments about how I've been going through a rough time and relentlessly boring you with shit you don't need to know -
So I thought it was about time I posted something musical up here again! ♥
This piece could have been better. It could have been a LOT worse. Overall, I'm quite happy with it. It's upbeat and works well with a trancey feel to it. Probably one of my favourite route musics from this game; especially since this music also plays in the Lake of Rage(?), which is where you catch a shiny Gyrados... For free! ♥
Hope you all enjoy it and hopefully there will be more coming soon and more regulary!
In terms of requests, I'm still working on:
Outset Island - Wind Waker
Brinstar - Metroid
And one other which I'll have to check comments to find out what it was. Might have been the Tetris theme, which would explain why I've forgotten because it's already been remix'd to literal death D:

EDIT: Lol I just listened to it and heard an incredibly offbeat snare drum that somehow I missed. Should have fixed it and reuploaded x.x

More nostalgia inducing tunes, I vaguely remember my first ever encounter with the red gyarados. I remember it being a powerful foe but that was probably A: my inexperience at the time
B: I only used my starter throughout the game
C: I had nothing but HM moves on my Feraligatr *face palm*
Anyway, I think this track translated really well from 8-bit to a trancey sounding piece.
As far as I'm concerned, you did a good job as usual!

Yeah cause I was the same, only I had a Typhlosion, so maybe Surf wasnt there. I think I kept Flame Wheel there cause I thought it was really good when actually it sux.

That might of been it's moveset actually. I'm pretty sure I did give it whirlpool and waterfall at some point later down the road. But my memory is a bit blurry from the time period when it comes to games.
I do remember I randomly named my Feraligatr with random letters and ended up calling it Compo. My Feraligatr was also female if I remember correctly. I think I lost everything by accidental causing a glitch with the pc, it might of been the cloning glitch after comparing said glitch to what i remember from looking back at it.

Ahaha. At the time I didn't even know what a shiny was. I just thought it was red for some reason.
I don't think Pokemon games have EVER explained what a shiny is in-game, actually. I feel sorry for the people who didn't know what they were and just killed them on sight....

Nope, I had to recover all by myself! I visited the Pokemon Center but the nurse couldnt quite fit me in a Pokeball. I asked for some general medical help but the only thing she's qualified to do is to put Pokeballs in that weird machine that looks like it charges batteries, so that sucked.
