Was painting earlier today in a coffeeshop when a couple of kids stopped by where I was working. They’d been drawing too; the boy had been drawing monsters and the girl had been drawing princesses. Kids drawing is more important than my opinions about gender norms, but I also thought, hey, there’s no reason you can’t be both a monster and a pretty princess.
