I can't be sure the colors are accurate, since we've only seen a normal mega greninja, but fuck it, I couldn't help myself.

Well aparently the translation of the snippet from CoroCoro only mentions that this Greninja just happens to look like Ash. Thought that doesn't explain the water Fuma Shuriken.
It doesn't say if it's mega or not.
Man I hope it's mega and not just something as dumb as "oh it looks like Ash."
The only consolation I'd get from that is that unique pokemon would be canon, and not just coloration-wise either.

When I start seeing that new greninja more,one of my characters is definitely being one. It may either be my star keldeo "Jaden" as he was a shiny greninja for a while one summer,or his shiny keldeo sister Janice who was one for a short time. In short,I like this greninja and I want to see more of it.
