While organizing my folders today I came across my Inkeater species and realized that I really want to make more adopts of them. I also gave them a minor update; Inkeaters used to have three bobbles on their tail, but I've decided that they now only have two.

Inkeaters are mischievous spirits that feed off of unfinished or forgotten artwork. They come in a remarkable variety, but all possess a long tail with two bobbles of ink and generally have neutral/earthy coloration (most commonly: black, grey, silver, and white.)
The second bobble on their tail is always black. When healthy and happy, the largest bobble is colorful and bright with a pulsating array of color. When sick or upset, the colors in the largest bobble become murky and dark. Without the consumption of artwork, inkeaters dry up and, eventually, perish.
