Yesterday my betta fish Zenith died suddenly and unexpectedly, seemingly for no reason at all (he was perfectly healthy that morning before I went to church).

I know it's stupid to mourn over a dead fish, but I give every pet I ever own all of my love and it makes me sad when I lose one, no matter how big or small. I had Zenith for about a year now and out of the many bettas I've had during my life he was the most entertaining and intelligent one I've ever seen. I swear he even knew his own name and would respond when I called him.

I miss him a lot, so I decided to try my hand at watercolors again in tribute of him. For however many years it's been since I've really painted with watercolors it turned out okay.
