So... my new Yiynova 22" drawing screen arrived. I had about 20-25 minutes with it, then it flickered and went black. It is now a big white brick :(

That said... pressure response was better than a Cintiq, tracking was just as good, colours are superb and on a par with my semi-pro main monitor. It's lighter than a Cintiq of the same screen size, and fits into my workspace much better. And I really, really want a 22" drawing screen now that I've had a taste of one. So I will arrange an RMA and see how the company responds. Most feedback is very positive about their US branch, so I hope that'll be true for Europe as well. Meantime, back to my 13HD... which will feel oh so small now :S


*edit* Yiynova took all of 10 minutes to answer my email when I let them know there was a problem. A quick exchange later and they've booked a courier to come pick up the broken screen tomorrow. Thus far, that's top class support - if they follow through the rest of the process with the same courteous alacrity, I will be mightily impressed :)
