This is a still taken from a video so it's pretty blurry (sorry). I don't have any other images as of yet. This is myself (as Otachi) and my Husband (in a sort of newt costume) on stage at Dragon*Con.
At this point I had been in this costume for about 4 hours without sitting and I was SO...so, so, sooooo tired.
After all the pain, I did come home with the Best Novice award for the 2015 Friday Night Costume Contest. I can't freakin' believe it!
A DVC round nose dragon base was heavily modified for the head (you can follow my edits in my profile. Resin eye blanks, UV tongue and squishy claws all from DVC.)

Gah! The parade. Oh... that parade was a super special learning experience for me, lol. That's too bad! Basically after that parade I didn't put Otachi back on for the rest of the con, not even for the photo shoot I purchased, I wasn't in a main hotel and hiking all that ways in here was TOO difficult and tiring in the heat. I did wear a raptor jesus costume around for the rest of the con, though.
