A simple concept for a metal comic i am fooling around with. The line art is a bit messed up due to to tomuch and hard pencils lines.
There decendents of humans and trolls, that explains there weird ears, feet and skin. There will be males to later on.
They live in the frigid north, a stereotypical scandinavia, with thick woods, mountains, and snow and ice. Mostly its parody of norway and there death metal culture, but also a little tribute.
They worship a god of dark ice calle Gore-göt.
Since thay are decendents of Trolls they have a dislike for the heavymetalers, caus they weilds thunder magic

Meh, I prefer Judas priest to the death metal stuff, as far as I'm concerned if you're just screaming incoherently its not music >.>

But shouldn't trolls be like...green skinned and snaggled toothed? this looks more like a dark elf with weird feet to me >.>

Me to. I just found black metal easy to exagerate with the huge spikes and make ups.
Trolls are wearry diverse depending on culture, in scandinavia they are ugly with hairy ears and feets with tails. Wearry diffrent from the trolls in WoW.

I suppose there are lots of "trolls" depending on how you want to view the matter, but technically the spikes are universal metal, its just that death metal feels the need to exagerate them.
Originally teh studs and spikes were started up by judas preist, who had a gay guy in the band, who wore the leather and such on stage which created their image, amusingly enough the whole thing was started up by a gay man who had a thing for Bondage outfits >.>
WoW has never been my thing when it comes to fantasy always been more of an elder scrolls/Warhammer guy.
WoW just rips warhammer off unforgivably.
