Erin Fay is an Australian uplifted Superb Fairy Wren (An evolved bird that has the ability to turn into a human form) that is currently living in Japan on an exchange student program with his sibling Ash Fay.

Erin grew up on his family farm on the outskirts of Melbourne in Australia, he was a quiet and shy child until he met Ash. After Ash's biological parents passed away, Ash became Erin's sibling which helped Erin finally be able to change into his human form. He is extremely thankful and supportive of his adopted human siblings, to the point that he prefers to be in his human form.

When he was fourteen, he was invited to enrol in a special exchange student program to study in Japan for his excellent bird watching and photography skills and environmental knowledge. The following year, both he and Ash moved to Japan and started attending St. Pigeonation's Academy.

While at St. Pigeonation's, he joined the Bird Watching club however he, along with his best friend (perhaps with some benefits) Sakura Mitchell, gained a reputation within the club for not just focusing on the wild, non-evolved birds. During his time in Japan, he quickly become known as a kind-hearted pervert, often sneaking off with someone during breaks and hanging around with well-known and popular flirts and playbirdies. However unlike others, he never initiates flirting with anyone (except a bare few) and prefers to stick beside his close friends and sibling and eventually his girlfriend/fiancee Shizuka Kyunkyun.

Erin hates any type of fight, avoiding them at all costs and trying his best to stay on the fence except if it involves Ash. Erin will stubbornly stand beside Ash and support them to the end, even if Ash is wrong, Erin won’t say otherwise and would even run into danger to fight for and protect Ash. When it comes to his own feelings and problems, Erin is a private bird, not wanting to bother others and to prevent any conflict.

During his time in Japan, Erin meets and falls for Shizuka Kyunkyun. He is unquestionably loyal and loves Shizuka with all his heart and is grateful for her allowing him to have casual hook ups with others when they eventually started dating.

Erin, no matter what form, is never seen without his trademark goggles he received in his childhood and is very protective of them.
