[Digital] These are the Days
[Theme]
I used to have a new picture every day in my head after rowing 'class', but lately that hasn't happened. Today I struggled a bit and this pic came up, obviously because the weather here is much like in that window. And I love those. <3~
[Art]
Was desperately trying to art something. ANYTHING. Mostly since I haven't done '2D' art for what feels like forever. Nothing complex here, took little more than an hour I think. Just a quick lineart, basic coloring and some more of those spiffy postwork brushes, especially in the window. The pose was actually built in Daz and then used as reference (since I altered a bunch of stuff in the actual drawing, mainly feet, hands, face expression, breast size, tail, etc). So yeah. Just a quickie to get me to do something. e_e

It's...well, pretty much the same as every 3D software out there, as long as one has a ready, rigged figure. In my case, I put in a prop bed, a preset pose, tweaked it to my liking (roughly) and...that was it. It's kinda like having a stock model always there for you. xD
(Btw, here's how the ref looks: https://www.dropbox.com/s/op9gus02z.....seRef.jpg?dl=0 )

Ah, ok. Well, reason I was asking is because I've tried Clip Studio Paint for character reference poses and it's not bad for gesture drawings and very rough sketches. More like a digital mannequin than a character. Probably at the opposite extreme of what something like Poser does. So I was just curious how Daz was working out for you as a character reference. Looks like "pretty well"
