Also Made for the Eurofurence 21 Art Show. Well... this is by far the most complicated clay figurine I ever made since it is 113 centimeters high (ca. 44 inches). That sounds like "not much" but I had to consider many things like "How to put it in the kiln?" "Will the feet support the body?" and "How thick does it have to be?".
By the way it is a hollow figurine - like ever other I make and it's weight is 44 kilograms.
Also did not sell this one but I did not expect that anyway since most people would not have found a way to transport it - and I admit the starting bit seemed maybe a bit expensive. Regarding it's price and people saying "It's way to expensive!" I'll just say "Nope it's fucking not". Having a kiln where you can fire a 130 entimeter high figurine (it's shrinking during firing) costs a fortune, not mentioning my 2 weeks of work... A similar clay Sculpture by other artists would cost 10 000 euros or more.
Also I think I am quite getting used to it in our hallway and our customers enjoy getting greeted by it. :)
