Another plate from the organic salad experiment. In this case, the plate was specific to bacteria that can live in a high saline environment, namely Staphylococcus bacteria. This agar was originally pink, and you can still see little bits of it on the edges. The change in color indicates the presence of Staphylococcus aureus, commonly known as the flesh eating bacteria :P
