don't take this the wrong way but I have to nitpick this a little bit

bow strings don't stretch, the bow limbs do. they used to add wax to the strings to prevent water weakening the string

swords don't bend in line of the edge, too thick. a lot of European swords where flexible but side to side. and if that is suppose to be a katana like blade I wouldn't have any spring at all

I actually know about all this; however, the commissioner particularly -specified- these paradoxical details.

This commission was given a few months back before I commissioned another artist to tweak the outfit and weapon design, but the bow-concept essentially remained the same. Since Jasen already had the outfit and bow design from the older ref-sheet, I decided to leave it as-is for the sake of this commission. If you wish to see the upgraded look, I do have a few images of her to show a more functional (and less decorative) design, which uses internal and external reels instead of putting flexing-strain on the blades.
