Why don't they build beauties like they used to? If technology is supposed to be so much more advanced now, why are '09s already filling scrap yards when '69s still look like the day they rolled off the lot?
Dis pic, tho. Fast Cars and Furries - it's the American Dream come true :'D

Gonna actually try to do a rebuild on it this winter, far away shots do it justice but you can tell it has little things going wrong here and there up close. X3 but I more like old cars over bikes and trucks.
Always wanted a 69 Mustang but rare to find, or expensive if found. Kinda been looking at the 61 Imperial's lately.. Kinda love the fin look but need to look at some of the others out there. :3
Good luck on the F150! wouldn't mind giving your Camaro a drive though. X3 The mustang is sooo fun to go cruising in, No AC, No power steering, just pure drive~

I actually bought a 66 Mustang what... 3 or 4 years ago now... ended up giving it to my dad for his b-day because he absolutely fell in love with it (still a roller) , but that'll be fun when it's done ^.^
He's throwing a 302 in it he bought from me, from my parts truck I was using to rebuild mine - it'll move :) My Camaro currently has a 327 in it - was going to put a 350 in it, but heck - I've got an engine and not much money to spare for it so that's probably what's going to stay in it :P I'll have to upload some pics when I start it, it'll be gorgeous! :D
I just love grabbing old - cheaper projects that are beat to death (why they're cheap) and restoring them to their former glory! I did it for 2 old dirt bikes (in my mechanical gallery folder), my truck (soon) and hopefully the Camaro sometime too! *why I was asking about bikes / trucks :P*

This mustang is supposed to be a 65 model, but a previous owner wrecked it and put a 66 front end on it, original color was blue but was painted black. I guess you saw the few other mustang pics in my gallary. It sports a 302 engine~ I bought if from a fire fighter in Florida, who said he bought it from a 18 year old who took it home and it never cranked for him again. XD Cars like this are rare down here to find, but I wish I could find more. I almost bought a 71 mach 1 mustang with a 429 engine :3 Got to drive it, scariest thing I ever driven in my life.. x.x
Show me some pics of the 66 stang if you can :3 great fun cars! I would love to do more car work myself but I don't really know people nearbye that I can work with on stuff. Not a great self learner xD
I never messed with old Camaro's any, do they run well?
