*snickers* Also funny that said gas station explosion does nothing to draw in zombies when it's probably the loudest effect in the game, but I guess you can't try to think too hard about applying logic to zombie games XD

I think they are going for the idea that flashing lights and high-pitched sounds lure them in -- after all, that explains the pipe-bomb plus smoke detector. ... But it doesn't explain why they respond to a church bell.

Or a plane being filled with jet fuel... I can get the bell, big loud rhythmic noise might draw them in, but why does the sound of pumping gas suddenly draw them in?

*laughs* Awesome =3 You forgot one thing to mention... Witches... They hate the light (it's so meem tastic, I'm suprised no one has made anything about that XD ).

Totally awesome pic, and I must say, I never had the fact of flaming gas stations < barrels when it comes to length of burning pop up... Which is sad as I wound up being a survivor of a horrid Tank/horde combo at the gas station area and needed to kill myself to restart the stage by hopping on top of a barrel.

The fact that they hate light might explain why we're trying the escape at night. (Maybe during the day, it's a non-stop berserk fest.) However, only the witch goes berserk when you shine a flashlight on her -- everyone else just stands there.

I guess it just ruins my sense of immersion a bit, because gunshots are freakin' loud, yet you have all these "stealth games" that assume no one notices a gun going off in the next room over.

Hmmm ... one wonders what L4D would be like if firing a gun set off every zombie within X meters. ... Prolly a lot harder.
