Well, personally I think you should have that mix of warm and cool colors. I see no reason why you should change the little things like the spots above the eyes that kind of help define Blaze.

I guess that's what I like about your current design and name mix. The hot, fiery colors match exactly with "Blaze" XD

Mmm, that looks really good. And it seems to be a very special character, seeing as how she is your first anthro character ever =~.^= I can't even remember anymore which character was the very first anthro furry character I created way back when, hee.
Now let's see... I would change nothing about the pattern of the fur. That looks perfect. Personally, though, I myself would switch the grey/black color to a more dark, indigo blue, to match a bit more with the blue of the fur. But, that is just my personal opinion. I also very very much like how the creamy white matches with that blue! That's a very good look on her; very friendly to the eyes, and it seems very natural, even =~.^=

nice furpattern, I would keep it. and a not-too-bright yellow goes well with a shiny cobalt blue, like, as I found out creating a colourful bat character. :)
the facial marking looks more like marten than raccoon, very nice.
changing the black to a dark blue might work; maybe you can try that out digitally. :)
