The backrunner headworld is rife with parasitic animals and fungi - much like our natural world! Just...more ostentatious. A lot more ostentatious.
King's torch is fairly symbiotic and it helps clean the bloodstream of toxins, although the spores make you look like you're dropping embers everywhere every other month or so.

Trying to get more comfortable with the idea of making these guys as adopts. They're not regularly available and very much a closed species, but maybe I'll do a special auction or sale sometime in the future. For now I'm designing them for close pals as practice, and ways to feel out some sort of variety within the species - this guy belongs to  snappy.
