yeah haha, I was asked to do a full redesign since it's gonna be made into a fursuit, I was told to get rid of most of the white so it didn't get as dirty!

(I feel bad we didn't keep the personality core eyes though, he's gonna end up having resin eyes so the black tear ducts should help at least)

Haha yeah Spud was originally a suit design I made for myself and they're mostly white because I was going to re-use my mothcat suits body. The eyes were gonna glow and stuff but I just never got around to finishing it and needed money so I decided to sell the character. I haven't had a problem with my all white body suit getting dirty though??? XD

The character is so far gone from the original now, it's like not even the same at all, kinna makes me wanna get my babby back but.. haha. CAN'T DO THAT! Out of my hands now. No longer a portal-lynx-cat.

what I actually got was kind of a redesign of a redesign! there was another ref page I went off of, also the aperture symbol got moved to the back so it would be easier to sew in etc. I'm sorry he looks so different now, it's mostly what the customer wanted aaa

Oh man, that is strange. It's sad the only thing they kept from it was the name because that was the part I was intending on re-using on another character. oop. :X

Hey, just wanted to clear things up. I'm still using Spud as I bought him in art, online, etc! Actually just commissioned two pieces. It's just that I have an almost entirely white fursuit already and given the amount of public fursuiting I do, he's hell to keep clean. So, I asked Moop to give her artistic spin on the design to reduce the amount of white, just for the fursuit! But Spud as I bought him still lives on & will be how the character looks when I get art, etc. I'm really sorry for the confusion, I just fell in love with the character and wanted to strike a happy medium between the spirit of his design and having a fursuit that I don't need to wash every single time I take to the beach.
